We had great turnout at the Open Meeting held at the Oval on June 1. Thank you to those who attended. If you were unable to attend (or want to do more!), here are some further actions that you can take to help:

1. Send a 15-30 second video of yourself to nttf@colostate.edu talking about your experience this semester and how it felt to get the notice that your contract wouldn’t be renewed right as you reached the end of the semester. You are also encouraged to post the video on social media with #1csu1faculty.
2. Send letters about your experience with the decision not to renew contracts to the Board of Governors at csus_board@mail.colostate.edu. Even if you were not directly affected, we are also asking for letters in support of President McConnell’s  recommendations: (a) raising the NTTF base pay, (b) following through on promotion pay for all faculty, and (c) maintaining salaries—no furloughs, no layoffs, no cuts. The Board of Governors is meeting this week, June 3-5. Feel free to refer to our letter to Executive Committee or AAUP-CSU’s Policy Position for ideas.
3. If you have a contract then ended May 2020, you are invited to reach out to us at nttf@colostate.edu if you are willing to join a group action to fight that decision.
